How to plan a destination wedding in Italy

Planning your remote wedding in another country is both a dream and a daunting task at the same time, as the web has little to offer for wedding planning in Italy.

Likely if you have dreamed of an Italian destination wedding, you have a location in mind from having traveled or been inspired online. If not start with nailing the location down. Pinterest and instagram can provide some fabulous scenic ideas, villas, coastal locations, vineyards etc.

Once you have the location, research the best times of year that appeals to you and your partner. Main wedding season in Italy is April to October. Sunshine in abundance may be found between spring and autumn. For comfortable temps consider April, May ,September and October.

Check out local wedding blogs for tips on local vendors.

Next, don’t go it completely alone. This can be overwhelming. Definitely research a wedding planner or two and speak with them. Use your conversation to determine if they truly grasp and share in your vision. Do your due diligence and read reviews, see their work on social media and even ask for references from previous bridal clients. If you are from the US request US bridal client referrals if applicable.

And lastly hire your photographer! I adore Italy and have traveled the country side a good bit. We have reasonable packages for destinations such as Amalfi Coastline,Venice, Tuscany, Sicily and the infamous Lake Como to name a few.

I assure you we will document your event as evocative as the experience itself. You are the star in this production and Italy is your set. This is your day and we pride ourselves in providing you with nothing short of the very best in imagery.
